@kennysoo2008 A few things. One, no AI software knows anything about Sims. They will all give very inaccurate answers -- in part because people post wrong stuff online, in part because AI doesn't know that info from 5 or 10 years ago about the game is outdated. So don't bother with that.
Two, how many script files your game can handle depends on your computer power, plus it will depend somewhat on what the mods do. It is, though, pretty common to start hitting issues above roughly 250 script files.
Three, if it's always a particular amount of time before your game crashes, it might not even be mod-related at all. You might have other issues. To confirm that it is mods at all, please try playing vanilla to see if it happens again: Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, and try playing again. Use "Save As" to make that a test save separate from your regular one.
Re. population, it completely depends on your computer power how much your game can manage, but the symptom of that issue is almost always going to be load times.
