I am unsure what happened but my cc won't be recognised even after trying to remove the folder, enable, restart etc. All of the mods/cc in my computer whether they are a backup or in the electronic arts folder have all got 'OFF' written on them. I play the sims 4 on a Mac and would rather not search for and download 7k+ worth of mods again. what happened?

  • @leylarazade  Please post a screenshot of the contents of your Mods folder, as in, I'd like to see the files inside.  I'm particularly curious what the "OFF" refers to.

@leylarazade  Do you use a utility that enables and disables custom content for you?  It looks like that's what happened here: the OFF at the end of each file shouldn't be there, and it will prevent the game from reading the files.  If you have this kind of tool or have used it in the past, tell it to reenable all your cc and then see what works.

You could of course delete the OFF from each file name, but that seems like a lot of unnecessary work if there's a tool to do it for you.
