Parents put down toddler automatically

Hi! 

So my sims has a toddler and everytime   she lifts him up, she drops him again automatically. No error or anything pops up when she does that the game just keeps on running without a problem. Its just very annoying  because the toddler is very clingy so he will start crying right away. 

I searched literally everywhere for a answer but i didn't find anything. 

Does anyone know how i can fix this problem? Or does anyone else have this problem too? 

( I did contact EA and they told me that it's a bug and that they're gonna contact the team but i made a topic to see if i can fix this already )
