Hi all,

I am still encountering the problems which 7/25/24 update was supposed to solve.

Following the update I am still experiencing unresponsive UI after opening character values tab. The character values begin flashing and I am unable to open any other tabs inc the main menu. Game is unplayable.

Not sure why this issue is continuing post update ! Am playing on Mac.

Have repaired game, updated, reinstalled... tried many fixes.

  Hi Crin, thanks for your message.
  I did have MC Command and some others installed, however have removed all and kept mods out while attempting to fix and problem is still occurring.

    Try the following
    
    Close the game
    
    Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    
    Repair the game
    
    Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. Be aware that your claimed event rewards will also be gone for the time being but you will get them back with your other things.
    
    Start a new save game
    
    Check if you still have the error
    
    Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
