Polish to Perfection mod

Is there a mod out there to stop this nonsense?? It is ridiculous.

  • What? You don't like your Sims to clean things? Just because it says polish to perfection, doesn't mean it takes any longer to get the job done. At least, I haven't noticed it taking any more time than the previous 'clean' command.

not when they are constantly polishing everything because they have the neat trait. It is a bit much.

I agree. It's incessant and annoying. Sims will polish the same thing over and over. Find something else to do! I'm looking for a mod to tone this down right now.

I would remove the Neat Trait, if that's the case. LOL
  • I don't think there is, but you could pop into the Creator Musings Discord server and suggest it.
  • Yea, it's getting to be a problem. I had a sim eat breakfast then repair the stereo. The maid came in (with the trait) and proceeded to polish every clean thing in the house over and over and over. Meanwhile, the repair trash and dishes are stinking up the house, maid's ignoring them polishing the already clean grill, sink, and bathtub over and over. I used cheats to edit her in CAS, removed the "Neat" trait, and she immediately stopped and finished cleaning properly.

I'd recommend NEVER using the Neat trait again until this is fixed.
