Power shut off after returning to lot

The power is shut off after my Sims are returning to their house from travelling to another lot and it won’t come on again. I have to restart my game to fix the power.  It is not fun to travel to other lots anymore as I have to restart my game all the time.

    @natalz89 Did you get the squirrel/power test power outage notification at any point in the past? Try replacing the mailbox.
