I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I don't know where to go to report severely broken mods. If this is in the wrong place, feel free to delete it but please tell me where I post reporting broken mods.
I normally don't bother doing this because mot updates don't really break the game from playing and I just remove a mod here and there, most aren't all that important. But today's update (February 27) has totally busted . It's so bad I can't keep up with all the exception errors being generated every time I just move a Sim. I did do the usual test, remove all mods except , in case another mod is the actual cause, and the errors still persist. I looked at your main page reporting broken mods as of today and is not listed. I don't know whether that's because...
1. Nobody's found it.
2. Nobody's reported it.
3. You don't allow controversial mods to be listed here.
In any case, I am officially reporting this.
In a related matter, how do gamers, who use mods, deal with this on a regular basis? I am still waiting for 2 mods that were broken with the December 19 For Rent EP to be updated and so far, nothing. I think after 2 months it's safe to assume they're never going to be fixed. For me, this is a shame because they are 2 mods I used a lot.
Mortem - For realistic funerals instead of that ridiculous grim reaper
Life Insurance Mod - So that when a parent dies a child can get an insurance payment. Now, I have to use the money cheat to get paid.
I can't be the only one dealing with these frustrations.
Again, if this is in the wrong place, can you move it to where it belongs and leave me a link so I can bookmark the thread?
Thanks.

I see the name of the mod (initials WW) has been removed from my post so apparently, that mod isn't even allowed to be discussed here.
So where do I go to report it being broken?

@stevenwagenheim The creator knows. WonderfulWhims might be also broken (and can be named in these forums) but I haven't seen that confirmed and the mods aren't identical. MANY script mods are at least throwing LEs on game loading, though. Some have more changes than that needed.

@stevenwagenheim For mods that broke today, the main reason most aren't listed individually yet is that modders are still testing and many have turned posts off on their support servers while they do that, so there are many fewer user reports. It's also been just 6 hours since the patch, so even where those user reports do appear, there haven't been many of them yet. As the pinned post notes, though, many mods are affected by changes in today's patch. For some, modders haven't said exactly how their mods are affected. For many, it will be only an LE that's produced on game startup.
Sometimes, unfortunately, game code changes enough that it can be a struggle to get a mod to fully work again. Mortem, though, was mostly working before today; there are two known issues. SimRealist is a terrific operation and I'm sure are working to resolve them. The other mod might have issues the modder hasn't been able to solve yet.
Those of us who lean into mod use learn over time that the first few days or (sometimes) week after a patch is for playing a "vanilla" (unmodded) save or doing other things. And that sometimes a mod we love will just... die. And we'll have to hope someone, someday, adopts it or solves its issues or makes a similar mod. And we find other ones that are fun instead and are still glad we aren't console players who can't mod the game at all.
