Jazz is still an available option on the stereos, it's not been removed.
If you're not seeing it, try moving your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Once you've done that, test the game. If it works normally, check for updates to your mods/CC. You can then add them back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I tried to listen to the radio for "Musical Genius Aspiration" but there was no jazz menu. Now I'm playing the base game only, but there was no jazz on any of the radios.
Sorry for the tagging. But this was happened in vanilla base game.
I did what you suggested. I moved my mods folder to my desktop and deleted the localthumbcache.package. I then opened my game and tested each stereo again and its still a problem for me. no stereos have this jazz station. the music folder doesnt even list jazz - and i never deleted it! So im super confused right now.
the only place i can find jazz music in my game is when my sims plays the piano or keyboard, but absolutely no option to listen to jazz on any of the stereos. I still need help with this.
I have dine out. I have most of the packs and kits actually. I am only missing a few at this point. I used to see jazz as an option, but not anymore. the folder isnt even there in the music folder. I never deleted it. its all so weird.
Thank you for pointing that out. When I enabled Dine Out, Jazz came up. So you are saying that it is a Dine Out specific radio genre? I may have confused the two, since I sometimes use the CL's keyboard when accomplishing the "Listen to Music for 2 Hours" section. You and @EA_Solaire, sorry to have bothered you two.
@kitchenkabuki In my case, it was simply a misunderstanding. You said you don't have Jazz in your folder, have you tried repairing the game? If you haven't, it's worth a try to see if Jazz comes back in the folder.
@kitchenkabuki The folder usually get created when you listen to the station for the first time. You're saying you had the folder before though so there's no reason for it to get deleted unless you did a factory reset or created a new folder otherwise.
I also would suggest a game repair to see if that helps with the station appearing.
