@MomRushTX Test if you have any errors without anything other than your resource.cfg file in your mods folder.

It's basically a reset that happens if you use content that isn't updated so everything you're doing is interrupted.

Of course it works without anything in mods folder. I'm trying to narrow down the problem. Can't play without my mods. (Very boring) LOL

There could be more

If you haven't updated in a while, check if there's a batch update for cc you use in S4Studio.

@crinrict I think I found the culprit. It's one of my adult mods, so I won't post it here. But one I can do without for sure. Thank you again!
