Re: Can't view different levels of home
This sounds like the sims no longer own the home if you can't see inside. It has happened and been reported here before. You can try to fix it. To do that, first make a backup of your save. Don't try this in your main save. Then load the game again and open the save.
First, go to the world map. Try to enter the house in build mode from the map. If you can see inside and look at all the floors, then save a copy of the lot to your library. Then go back to the map, then enter the lot in live mode as see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, then try have the sims travel to somewhere else and travel back to see if anything changes.
If not, then try moving the sims to another lot and see if they have the same problem there. If not, then the sims are ok. Then move them back to the original lot and see if they can access the house.
If none of that works, then move the sims out again. Go to the lot in build mode from the map and replace the lot with the copy from your library. Then try again. If you still can't get into the lot in live mode, then something with the lot (or possibly the save) has corrupted and the lot has become unplayable.
If any of those things do work, then you can play on the copy of the save or go back to the original save. You'll know what you need to do and just repeat it in the save. Then play on.
