same, however i took out all the stuff in my mods folder and it started working, but i use my cc for everything lol so idk what to do 😐

I'm having the same exact issue. I tried the whole removing all the mods thing to get my cas to work, (and I thought it was working), but it turns out that it was only working when I clicked on 'New Game',  cause when I tried loading one of my saves to play, and clicked on a wardrobe , cas was completely unfunctional 

its happening to me, i keep removing things i think are broken and it just wont load, i updated all my mods and when i play sims it works, and i can build but as soon i click CAS it loads forever

I just had this issue. I thought I had updated every major mod that needed updating/could be updated (all trait mods, more cas columns, UI cheats, MC to name a very few). Then I discovered I needed to update More Traits in CAS by thepancake1 and MizoreYukii which completely fixed my problem.  The only thing now is whenever I leave CAS I get a BE Report / Detection Type: BROKEN Trait Mods; my game will load, but it is semi-frozen, which forces me to Alt + F4 to force save & quit. So, I'm not sure what to look for next :\

If anyone needs to know which mods have been updated, are compatible, or broken with this update, I recommend Scarlet's Realm which loosely keeps track of mods. 

I updated it as well, and it still is not working.

I'm also experiencing this, and never have before. Sure it's taken quite some time to load before but now, however I try to enter as wether it's through "new game" or through mccmd or even just in game it won't work:/ 

It happened to me too. It seems to be the mod that add more columns to the CAS menu. As they add a new feature to the CAS menu, I guess it broke the columns mod... :(
