Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

I know that Deaderpool updated two days ago. I had to get rid of a job mod because it did something strange when one of my Sims was looking for one. But do you think that entering the cheat to go into CAS is a mod issue? I don't think so, because if I can't get into CAS using MCCC (Which I will be patiently waiting for another update from, probably Monday), or by typing the cheat in the cheat bar to go into CAS.
I took out ,I am patiently waiting for Turbodriver to get back from his vacation to fix his mods. Although I am not going to be using that with my current household.
I really do need to get into CAS to change the relationship with my married Sims to spouse. But I can get into BuildBuy just fine. That's what I did in my game.
Nonetheless, me and some other Simmers really do need to get into CAS, and we can't now thanks to the updates.
