Hi! All of dreamgirl's lashes are broken and she hasn't been online since 2023, so they seem like a pretty good option for testing batch fixes! I've personally tested them and they are definitely broken, even switching the category to the lash category didn't help. Hey all, I just want to point out that the eyelash (from my experience anyways) seems to be an issue with adult sims only.
As you can see with the files attached, I have three sims from the same household. Two of the three sims have the eyelash issue.
I use kijiko’s eyelashes for my sims. I used sims 4 studio to convert my lashes from the glasses category to the eyelash category. Out of curiosity, can we delete the old files and convert them once again? Or do we have to wait for s4s to be updated?
It looks like kids eyelashes are broken too. I got alerted about my eyelashes not working for kids. I updated only one eyelashes by cloning EA's file with eyelashes and re-importing all swatches and meshes. It is definitely a tedious work. But unfortunately just cloning an old file with updated game didn't solve the problem. So for now the only solution is to export all resources (swatches should be exported as .png files) into a separate folder, clone EA's eyelashes, import all meshes, all textures (as .png), change the shader to simglass for each GEOM, or to wait until creators update their eyelashes. I updated only Mermaid eyelashes so for, and this is what worked for me, These are working now.
