Just wanted to thank everyone who suggested removing or updating the cc beds. I had deleted all build and buy cc from my game except the pufferhead cc pack, because I have a child Sim that I envision being super into Harry Potter. Once I deleted the cc pufferhead mattress and bed frame, my Sims appear to be fine again. I didn't even remove the bed from my mods folder, I just deleted the bed from the lot. My sims can now complete homework, they no longer cancel meal related actions, and no t-posing. Hopefully this was the solution because I was going insane!

@luveska I realize your comment is at least months old, but geez, I was having the same exact issue and it was driving me insane. Thank you! It took a lot of googling to find your comment. But I've deleted the Pufferhead bed and it solved my problems.
