Re: Deleted CC still showing in game

@slypydog  Try creating a(nother) clean Sims 4 folder, then add a little bit of custom content at a time, and keep testing.  When the cc you don't want shows up, you'll know the issue is one of the files or folders you just added, and you can go from there.

I’ve tried that. I didn’t even check batches, I checked every single file. 1 by 1. I don’t have any CC located outside my mods folder. I saved a copy to my desktop and deleted the one in documents and then ran to the game to generate a clean sims 4 folder. then I checked all the files 1 by 1. and it’s not there, I don’t have a physical file anywhere, yet it’s still in the game. 😩

@slypydog  Just checking, but you're sure the items you want to get rid of are in fact custom content?

If so, please look for a second Sims 4 user folder: if the game is reading that folder instead of the one you're working with, and that folder has the cc in it, that would explain the issue.  A common place for a second folder to land is in OneDrive; if you're already looking in OneDrive, try the version of Documents stored on your hard drive. Either way, you can see the location of the folder in the address bar, so you'll know which one you're looking at.
