Re: Disappearing books

Yeah this just happened to me. The sim was reading a skill book (Research & debate) and decided to go get some leftovers from the fridge. I cancelled the eat food interaction (no tf you don't, read the book like I told you to, someone is already cooking in the house) and then she proceeded to go and place the food plate in a chest upstairs and.. *sigh* somewhere in the middle of it the book just disappeared. I've checked all the bookshelves, storage chests, her inventory, all the surfaces where you could place something, the family inventory.. Everywhere. It's nowhere to be found.

edit: okay so this is an actual thing. The book does turn invisible. I found the book a few days later because I travelled to another lot and when I returned home it had materialised back into existence (see picture below). And no, there is no way I just didn't see it because I basically deleted all the furniture to find it and the book reappeared on a Very visible spot, hanging in mid air in the middle of the kitchen. The only way for it to become visible again was to reload the lot upon travelling back home from another lot.
