Re: Game completely resetting between saves

I understand that if I start a new game, I will not be currently playing on the save I just did. However, the two should be able to exist together. Meaning, if in a new save I have my sim walking around a town, they should be able to see the houses I built in previous saves and interact with the sims from previous saves. However those saves are completely gone from the gameplay UNLESS I go into load game and replace the lot.

If you want to be playing one family and see the other families and houses as you describe, then you should load the same game instead of starting a new one. Go to Manage Worlds and then from there you can either create a new family or play with one of the ones you have.

Creating a new game will create a separate game from the one(s) with your previously played families and houses.

@n_noodle14 Moving this to game issues as what you describe is intended behavior as others have pointed out.

Different save games have no influence on each other.
