Re: Game won't load household after new update

This same issue has happened to me. But for me when i click on my household (the one I want to load) it boots me back to the map screen (where it shows all the worlds) in seconds.

I think this started after the patch update.

What can I do to solve this?

I attached a video I recorded to show what exactly happened.

I even have mods installed but don't know if that caused this issue.

I also repaired the game but that didn't work.

    @vannahbanana24 Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.

    It works now!

    I had to go logon to Curseforge and update some of my mods.

    If you know, which mods were corrupted? I'm having the same issue and can't find out what it is.

    @joonprint There isn't only one cause of this. First: Can you load households you've never played? Are your mods caught up with Broken/Updated Mods & CC ?

    If you removed cooking mods, put those back or try to delete plates/food in Build/Buy mode.

    If you have Growing Together and use CC, add Lumpinou's Milestones Fixes mod.

    If you have a freelance career or gigs mod that doesn't have an available update, remove those mods and then do a Save As within game, then exit and reload the save.

    Sorry for the late reply, but I found out that it was my Lumpinou RPO mod that was causing it. Thanks for the help!
