@shaniceluv Could you try the following

1. Evict the family
2. Go into build mode and save your home to the library
3. Bulldoze the lot
4. Change lot type to something other than residential
5. Save your game under a new name
6. Close the game
7. Restart the game
8. Go back to the lot and set it back to residential, place your home and family agina
9. Check if you still have the issue.
