Re: How do I fix my sims 4 UI

@ejfourteen

This appears to be a mod issue.  Specifically, a mod that affects the UI like UI Cheats.  From what you describe, it sounds and looks like you probably have a broken or outdated UI mod.  So, you should check to see if there is a newer version of the one you use available and update yours.

To check to see if it is a mod issue, move your mods folder to your desktop, delete the localthumbcache.package file and start the game to see if it clears up.  If it does, then it's a mod causing it.  Don't save when you exit when you test.  Then is a matter of either removing the mod or updating it.

If that doesn't fix it, then try changing your graphics options to a lower level (Like change Ultra to High) to see if that makes any difference.  If that works, then you can try going back to the previous settings and see if that will clear it.

If none of that works, come back and we'll go from there.

Hope this helps.

  • I've removed all my mods and and even deleted my sims 4 and origin and reinstalled and it was still like that even in a new game unfortunately. I have also tried lowering the graphics but it didn't work :/.
