Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
That is not how you fix it. It is a game issue. Has nothing to do with mods. I hate when I'm searching for a fix to a Sims 4 issue and everyone says the same thing. The patch is buggy and that interaction takes forever for Sims to do along with many other interactions. EA would be lucky that people even keep buying this junk. At this point I'd rather not have the infant patch. Everything is screwed.
I used to have the opinion and now it’s gone . The mum used to be able to interact with the baby but she can’t now .
you also have to remember the game just came out a couple of days ago. all new games have bugs
agreed and they are always quick to blame mods and cc..but when console users and vanilla users are having the issue as well..then its NOT THE MODS!!
It was a mod for me when I took out my mods folder it worked great, I’ll just have to look through all of them to see which one it is 😭
Well, its been how long now? How have they still not fixed this?! It's happening to me every time i try to continue my family in the new city. VERY FRUSTRATING! I haven't even really gotten to experience any of the new features yet. It is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
EA can not fix broken mods. It is up to you to keep your Mods/CC updated and remove any that no longer works.
Removing the cc beds helped me.

Hi @TheDebinator30 This is almost always caused by outdated mods. If you added some recently, one of those might be your issue. Try removing new-to-you mods, especially if they haven't been updated since the Infants patch.
