Re: I can't find mods folder on sims 4

Im having this same issue. At some point after moving my electronic arts folder to my E: drive, a system crash and reset, and my C: drive turning red now my custom content in sims 4 isnt reading in my game which i also installed on my E: drive. Please help ive been working on this for weeks. I dont understand where the folder is found i need to hover over. I did notice that the only files that appear in my cc/mods alert in game are two archive files. So i found where those files are located (on my E: drive) and just moved all my downloaded mods/cc there and now nothing is showing up in my sims 4 game. I made sure that all the correct (other) options are checked but nothing is showing up. Please help.

  • @MomsRock80 I'm a bit confused about your installation. First, the cleanest way to change where the *game program* is located is to uninstall The Sims 4 and reinstall it; when you reinstall, you can redirect to a new program folder. (I just did this the other day!) If you just copy the files over, the EA Play app won't know how to find them.

However, that's not where your saves, mods, etc. are located. Those are located in your Documents folder under Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. That's where the game will look for them.
