Also having the same issue - no mods are installed, no cc. 

Am finding that the entire career path seems to be bugged - jobs do not finalise, managed to fluke one promotion, but the jobs just don't wrap up. Sometimes I can reveal rennos, sometimes I cannot. I agree that it seems to be the most recent update has caused issues.
