I can’t currently because I’m not home but I can try and give a little more information. So the name of it is “black cat dva mech” but when I press on the it in the search bar it takes me to where it’s supposed to be but it not there for some reason. I have looked through my cc in build mode and it doesn’t show up either.
@zakeystun Thank you for the information, that was very helpful (if I'm correct)... I just also searched for "black cat dva mech" and did not get a result. However, you mentioned CC. I don't use Mods/CC, but I would highly doubt that they show up in game searches, as they are not part of the game's core, build mode created content. I would only expect items that are made by EA and meant to be part of the main game content would show in search results. With that in mind, if 'black cat dva mech' is a CC item, I would not expect it to show in search results.
Hope this helps. 🙂
CC should show up in the search field. Maybe the creator didn't correctly name the item which is why it isn't. Can you see the item in the catalogue normally? If so, could you post a screenshot of it with your mouse hovered over the thumbnail. This should be possible if you play in a window rather than fullscreen.
That’s the thing it shows up in the search bar but when I click it it doesn’t take me to it and I also can’t find it normally

Could you please provide me with a link to the piece of CC so I can test in my game. If it's a behind a paywall don't bother 🙂 https://www.patreon.com/posts/overwatch-d-va-36529460
Here you go, you only need to test the mech. Thanks! Yep,It shows up fine in the search field IF you enter it correctly. Unfortunately the creator added square brackets to their object name so you have to be exact when entering it (for anyone else seeing this with a similar issue):
You're right though, when I click on the object it doesn't immediately take me to it in the catalogue, it jumps to around 2 rows below where it actually is although it does have the green box around it confirming it has found it. This isn't a problem with this CC but happens with Maxis objects too. It's seemingly a bug of some sort.
You can however find it in the BB catalogue in Decorations > Misc. For me, in a vanilla game with all Packs and Kits installed, it was near the bottom. If you select CC from the filter, on the right above the main catalogue, you should find it quicker. You can also apply that filter after searching for it.
