Re: keep getting error code 122:502fc384:8633a214...

Hi @noeshow Test without your mods, not just without the ones you've seen broken or updated on lists. Exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4. If you think you might accidentally forget to exit without saving after testing, copy your Saves folder to your desktop too, to back it up. Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem. If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it.

For a specific error code, there's no guarantee it won't happen again. In general, though, keep an eye on reports of mods that are broken or updated and update them when that's available. I keep lists (see the pins in this forum), and you can subscribe for notifications. There's a new list when there's a new patch, and that's a key time when there will be more outdated mods to remove or update, especially for about the first week as reports come in and modders have time to update. Patches for major features or EPs will have the most new issues, typically.

The pinned threads here also have lots of advice on managing your mods and CC! Keeping an organized folder and watching what and where you download both help a lot.

Finally, always keep a backup of your saves, just in case.
