If they a simply away you can just wait for them to return. But why didn't you go to manage households and merge them there?

The mode allows for more sims to be in one household, however, since the game doesent normally allow that, some functions like adding sims to a household through manage households doesent work. Even if there are more than eight people in the household already, if you try to add more through manage households, it just says that it crosses maximum household limit. Also, they arent just away, they literally disappear from the map forever. If I try to play as them, then I see them, and see all other sims, but if I then play as the household I want to add them to, they disappear again.
Oh yeah forgot you couldn't add them that way when you exceed max sims in a household. Anyway it sounds like you have those households in different saves. They must be in the same save. To test chose load for your existing household and see if you see a green plumbob over both houses in manage world.
Ok, I searched some of the settings the mod has and found out a way to move the sims to the households. Thanks for the help anyway!
