I was wondering something about this. Whenever I had two women marry or two men, they keep their surnames instead of taking on the others. Is it suppose to be like this? I wanted my sim to take her wife’s last name but it didn’t happen, he name remained the same
As I know sims doesn’t change automatically surname in a vanilla game, and I don’t think they changed this behaviour. If you use MCCC (Mod) your sims change the surname after wedding because I think is per default on in this mod (It’s a long time that I used this mod, I only know the very old config menu)

Meaning i delete the MCCC Mod?
You can just disable the auto-renaming after wedding. I am sure somebody can help who you find these settings.
You can almost all settings tweak in MCCC. It is a very powerful tool, and I don’t think that MCCC forces you to use any settings. I think its just per default on because most people take the surname of her other half if they are married.

I Checked MC Cleaner, There is no Sim Cleaner there...
@SimmerCarl92That's because you're accessing MCCC by clicking a sim; you need to access MCCC by a in game computer since it's a whole game setting, not an individual household setting
