@petilstra   Hi!  I'm sorry you're having trouble with this.  Please try moving your mods out and deleting the localthumbcache file again.  Then go back into your game but this time, create a New save to see if the world will load for you.

EDIT: There is an open Bug Report about lots corrupting worlds.

I have no mods, and for the past two weeks, I have only gotten a white screen when trying to load the For Rent world. Every rental I build in other worlds gets corrupted. I don't know what to do. I've tried to repair my game 5 times, but it won't fix it. 

@JB87KB08 If you start a new save, does that work for you? And please confirm if you also have no custom content, not just mods. Do check the pinned topics in this forum, though, re. worlds not loading.

Same issue. Removed all mods, cc, and cache. New save file. I place my new sim in Oasis Springs, travel, click Tomarang map, the screen is just all white won't load and I can't go back to world select. This only happens with Tomarang. This is the only issue I've had with For Rent so far (besides the rent price for unowned lots being 4billion but that didn't bug me too much) and it's suddenly happening today. I used to be able to open Tomarang in other saves just fine with mods but all of a sudden today it's not working. Both in new and old save files before and during For Rent. I've repaired my game to no avail. 

@BabyKitsch Try this to see if it clears the issue:

1. Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop.
2. Go to the EA App/Origin, clear its cache (in the EA App that's Help > App Recovery), then do a Game Repair
3. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options.
4. Select "New" and see if you can load the new world.
5. If that works, exit and copy your old Saves files (not folder) into the new folder and try loading one of those.

Ok. Did that. It worked on a new save file but not on an old one. I'm really not interested in starting a new save file (I've been trying to flesh out my own for months now....) I found an lastUIException pasted below I hope is of use. I'm going to try to find solutions with Sims4Studio or something cause I think you can look inside of a save file with that but I really have no clue about it lol.

I have gotten a white screen like that in San Sequoia after downloading a couple of rentals changing from one rental to the other to see what rental worked best in the lot,  and then going back to residential.  I don’t use mods or CC, but I did download the two lots from the gallery, but no wrenches showed up. I have all the packs except Lovestruck at this time.  I am afraid to change my lots to a different lot type now because I am afraid the map will go white.  This happened before the patch that came before Lovestruck.
