- SimmerStar43 years agoRising Ace@liv2344 Okay. Are there any error codes? The game often throws up a save error code if it can't save.

i don't get any error codes when saving. the first time this happened i had saved and exited normally and when i came back on it was back to Monday morning despite the fact i saved on Tuesday night. the other times i had been using save as. i would do save as and then exit without saving and that worked but sometimes when i just exit the game in window mode the game crashes and i have to end the task. then when i play again things aren't when i saved. like i said before this happens randomly
- SimmerStar43 years agoRising Ace@liv2344 Okay. Is it possible to check what file paths the game is loading the save from? The game's folders have been known to duplicate themselves for some reason. Also, is it possible to check the last saved info on the save, to check whether it's saying it was last saved when the save button was actually used or not.
- liv23443 years agoRising Traveler@SimmerStar4 none of my folders have duplicated and the save time on the save matches the time in the game.
- SimmerStar43 years agoRising Ace@liv2344 Hm. Possibly when it's been force-quit, that's interrupted the saving process? Regardless, this can rule out folder duplication or saving error codes.
- liv23443 years agoRising Traveler@SimmerStar4 i save before exiting and force quit when it freezes when i exit
- SimmerStar43 years agoRising Ace@liv2344 Ah okay, I misunderstood. Perhaps it's related in some way to the glitch of Sims waking up when the game is reloaded? https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Sims-Waking-after-Game-Reload/m-p/11683809#M223627
I can't say for sure though. - liv23443 years agoRising Traveler@SimmerStar4 my sims have always done that and just go back to sleep
- SimmerStar43 years agoRising Ace@liv2344 Yeah, this glitch is where they don't go back to sleep after.
