Update! There was one mod I forgot to delete: kawaii stacy slice of life. Once deleted this issue went away. I look on reddit and this was a known issue with the mod. 

I don't have this mod and the bug still occurs, so...

So I had this problem too and I thought it was a bug by the game itself but turns out it was a broken mod. 

First I thought it was the SOL mod, but this solves my problem only for short moment of time. But after I get rid of all my traits and aspirations mods the need bar works for me again. 

So I now know why the need bar was broken, but how do I fix this? I want to play with these traits and aspirations but it seems that most of the creators didn't update them yet? 

would you mind listing the creator's names please ? 🙂

Yeah I can look them up later but is was an huge amount of traits and aspirations from different creators. 

So most of the traits were from Kuttoe, Daleko and KiaraSims4mods. 

The aspirations mods were mostly from MissBee, KiaraSims4mods and marlynsims. 

I assume that all of KiaraSims4mods are the deal breaker for me but I didn't tried it out cause it would took too long to find out. 

I just found a post on Twitter by KiaraSims4Mods and it seems she is fully aware of her mods being broken and works on an update already.

i had the same issue and it resolved when i removed the Slice Of Life mod -- at first i thought it was a UI cheats thing but nah, just double check your mods i'd say !

Hi, for my part, I no longer have this problem after removing these mods:

MTS_Scumbumbo_FasterGardening_UpdatedByLittleMsSam

LittleMsSam_HireCertainSimsRestaurant

[PimpMySims4] LGBT Mod

and update the last mod "Tmex-TOOL"

(I don't know which of these mods caused problems)

I still have some problems, like the fear system which is present even when I deactivate it in the options...
