The faces of my toddlers are glitched. All facial features are distorted. I read that there was a glitch in April when Growing Together Pack came out and that it was patched (I haven't played in months so I did not realize till now). All other ages are fine, it is just toddlers that are glitched.
Does anyone have a fix?

Are you guys using eyelash mods ? Merged your post with the main thread. Please read info in the thread. Guys, I removed "eppnoEAeyelashesUPDATE" and it works 🙂 many thanks for "eyelashes" tip!
I have tried everything. I have removed the mods and it is useless. I have tried changing the sims face preset and it works, but I hope there is another solution because making them again is horrible. Yesterday the game was good and today it is like this...
- @eikitini Same, I've been trying to find a solution since the update came out.
- MannaStyles2 years agoNew Rookie@eikitini I'm having this exact same issue and tried literally everything as well. What's weird is that it's only my main Sim that's still affected, which is so disappointing. Hopefully there's a solution that will come soon.
@MannaStyles Please see the CC section of Broken/Updated Mods . If that doesn't solve your issue, you'll need to do a 50-50 on your Mods folder. This means organizing the files there into bite-size batches (with any files they require, like XML Injector or a Core Library mod or mesh) and testing one batch at a time. For each test, delete the file called localthumbcache, then put only that batch in Mods. If your game behaves as you expect, set that batch aside as "cleared" and delete localthumbcache again. If it doesn't behave as you expect, take out half the batch and see if you're closer to finding the culprit. Remember to delete localthumbcache each time. You'll find some 50-50 method tutorials online too. Once you isolate the file, you can go find out if there's an updated version.
- MannaStyles2 years agoNew Rookie@luthienrising Thank you for your prompt reply! I have already performed all of the steps you listed, and even went as far as creating a brand new The Sims 4 document folder with only replacing my Tray Folder to retrieve the same sims from my Gallery's library; repaired my game and packs and even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling everything to STILL get the same result as @QueenSims ...
@MannaStyles Test on a true clean folder: Exit Sims 4 then drag your whole Sims 4 folder from Document > Electronic Arts to your desktop. Launch Sims 4 and reset your Options. Now start in a new save.
- MannaStyles2 years agoNew Rookie@luthienrising Sorry, I should've been clear. This suggestion is something that I have tried prior to adding my Tray folder to my Sims 4 folder. New sims aren't affected by the bug as far as the few that were generated. Just literally this one premade Sim that I have had since before December 5th's patch update.
@MannaStyles Try editing the Sim to use only Maxis face presets.
- MannaStyles2 years agoNew Rookie@luthienrising That worked! Apparently it was a Maxis cheek preset (that was already selected), so I clicked a different (Maxis) one and it cleared everything up! I have saved and exited my game, loaded it back up and the preset stayed. Thank you sooooo much for the suggestion.
- @punix320 Yes! This worked for me as well, thank you ☺️
How did you remove that ?
- @punix320 Hi I’m wondering how did you remove that ?
- shandra25832 years agoRising Vanguard@punix320 Thank you!! Removing this worked for me too!
- @luthienrising The problem for me was a mod named "Skin Details.package"
Deleting this mod removed this weird melted face glitch and also the demon eyes glitch for infants Thanks @courgettelegumes ! Sounds like that was a merged file with a collection of mods in it.
did u fix it ? And how ?
@AnayaNchele Please check the "Solution" post on p. 1. That covers the issues for most people.
This helped a lot! thank you!
thanks, this worked for me
