Re: Mods disappearing

The same thing has happened to me!

I loaded my game after the update - enabled mods BUT NOTHING IS THERE!!!

No mods or CC showed in the menu when I tried to load my game. The list was empty!

I closed the game and checked my mods folder and everything is fine.

I was playing Sims 4 last night (before update installed) and everything was fine.

The game options menu has now greyed itself out too for some reason and is inoperable. This has never happened to me before.

I have no idea how I can fix it if the mods are there and they've been enabled but aren't showing up in the game.

I use Windows and I am not hooked up to One Drive or The Cloud.

@TheDiscoTimelord Please move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Open the game and see whether you can access the Options menu again. If so, download a fresh copy of one mod, something confirmed to be compatible with today's patch (version 1.85), and see whether you have the same problem.

If the Options menu is still grayed out even with no mods in place, try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

i also experience the same things with the options menu but my mods are still fine
