Re: Mods won't work after moving from Mac to Windows

@Aimnyzryh  Did you transfer the folder fresh?  And did you take each mod out of the Mods folder you transferred and move it to the new Mods folder on the Windows PC?  If not, please do both of these at the same time; don't reuse the Mods folder from your Mac.

@puzzlezaddict I transferred the whole sims 4 folder via usb. Moved the all the contents inside the old mods folder into the new mods folder, transferred the tray and save files. When I launch the game I’m still getting the same error message with a different mod each time.

@Aimnyzryh  Right, but did you zip the whole Sims 4 folder, or the Mods subfolder, while it was still on your Mac?  By which I mean, did you right-click the folder and select Compress?  Not doing so risks damaging some of the files inside.

Hi I’m having the same issue. I saved my mods on a hardrive and compressed it but I’m unsure of the next steps. Can someone direct me. Thanks!

17150781f5c03834 What part of the process are you stuck at? You want to copy that compressed file to your new computer, then unzip the mods into the new Mods folder the game makes.
