Re: My sim is too uncomfortable

@sbgiscool How does it look if you temporarily remove all of your mods (plus you'll want to delete the localthumbcache.package file) and try a test save? If it all looks good without mods, then one of them is likely the problem. If it looks to be a mod, you could try the 50/50 method to narrow down which mod is causing it.

If you have any questions on how to do any of that, this is a good place to ask.

@sbgiscool The localthumbcache.package is located directly in your Electronic Arts > Sims 4 folder. It's safe to delete this file, your game will automatically regenerate a new one the next time you launch it. Same with your Mods folder. Just move your current Mods folder (with all of its contents) to your desktop. The game will create a new, empty Mods folder when you launch. Don't delete your old Mods folder, just keep it on your Desktop for now, until you can get your game to play normally in a no-mod test save.

From what I've been told, the localthumbcache a file that the game uses to keep certain data for faster storage and retrieval. If you have an outdated or obsolete mod that is causing problems in your game, it's possible that data from that mod could corrupt your localthumbcache. That means it's possible that a bad mod could continue to cause problems even after you remove it from your Mods folder. That is why it's recommended that you delete the localthumbcache whenever making any changes to your Mods folder.

I tested each mod one by one and deleted the localthumbcatche. Turned out it was twisted mexi’s “testing cheats always on” mod. I cannot thank you enough this really helped me!!
