Re: my sims cant interact with household members

Hi @1xki3ya5m2ky. Unfortunately, a problem caused by recent CC or older CC/mods that aren't compatible with the game after an update can mean that you have to get rid of some CC. Broken CC isn't something worth keeping if it means you can't play the game.

But first let's test if that's the problem:

  • First, exit Sims 4 then drag your Mods folder to your desktop, and make a copy of your Saves folder there too, so you don't accidentally save over your current game. Then delete the file called localthumbcache from Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
  • Now open Sims 4 and see if you still have the problem in your current save.
  • If you don't, you can start the process of figuring out what from your Mods folder was causing it. If you do still have the problem, come back and we'll work on figuring out what else can be done.
