Re: New game not creating a new save

Are you actually clicking "New Game" from the menu, or are you just going in via the resume button and then creating a new household?

Or are you trying to play a scenario? Some of the scenarios are bugged and just drop you into your last save. To put those in a new save, you actually have to create the save first - click new game, save the random household to the library, save in manage worlds - then exit back to the main menu and start the scenario.
