Re: noisy neighbors don't stop the music when I ask them to

Not to bring back a dead post, but this was at the top of my search engine when I went looking, so just piggybacking for now. Let me know if I should make an official bug report.

I have CC, but this issue continues with or without it. My sim will knock on the neighbour's door, ask them to stop, and they either will say they will or won't, just like normal. Unlike normal, however, they don't stop, no matter the outcome of the complaint. The only workaround is to travel to another lot, but a workaround isn't a bug fix. I've noticed in some games it's there from the beginning of gameplay, and in some it's gradual, but either way, it's in all my games. 

Mine stop only when they say they won’t. But annoyingly, the “yes sorry I’ll stop” response is far more common and when you get that you’re out of luck - your Sims won’t be able to sleep until morning. And it starts early every night, no matter what apartment you’re in, so your Sims basically just need to be nocturnal to live in San Myshuno. 

You may want to consider writing a noisy neighbour complaint letter to formally address the issue. This can help document your concerns and encourage them to take your request seriously. If the problem continues, you’ll also have a written record for further action.
