Hi @freakyteen21. Are you playing with mods? Some have functions that assign non-lot-related payments to "Other Taxes." For example, that's where you'd see MC Command Center's child support payments.

@luthienrising I use MCCC but I don't use child support payments on it; I've also tried playing my game without MCCC and the other taxes got even higher; closer to 5 million every time bills came.
That rules out one common cause, then! Try testing with no mods to see if there's another mod or CC item that's causing this (don't forget to delete localthumbcache). You might want to "Save As" first and test through till bills come around again, so your regular gameplay isn't affected. Might as well rule out mods and CC before looking for gameplay causes.
@luthienrising I don't use any other mods or CC just MCCC; I always delete the localthumbcache right before playing the game again.
Okay. The next things to look at, then, are non-build/buy items your Sim has. For example, an autograph from a famous Sim might have appreciated to a huge extent. Money in a vault can contribute. Anything in household inventory might be part of that number.
@luthienrising no vault, if paintings my sims did made the other taxes go to millions I'd say that's a huge bug, also no autographs, I have some photos of sims that are now dead.. nothing really in household inventory, the cow/llama house, some cakes and some small buy items that was in my sims inventory before they died.
- @freakyteen21 Try seeing what happens if you do a "Save As" and delete inventory plus anything your Sim created or collected.
