same thing here, deleted some scripts etc and nothing helps

just got the new xp too, created multiple families to my save file for when i got off work. guess ill go play PS the rest of the day

Same here. Can't get beyond the select world screen.

ALSO, I can no longer scroll with my trackpad.  My played world is below the bottom of the screen and I have to drag the slider down to get there as there is no scrolling with my trackpad now.

ME TOO! Wasted two hours of my life trying to figure it out. 

I have the same issue 

I spent an entire day and a half combing through literally THOUSANDS of mod, until I finally got everything running smoothly last night. Now, the game is broken AGAIN??? I'm seriously at my wits end with this game. I'm not repeating yet another 50/50 method. It's draining! After this fix, I'm taking the game entirely offline, only updating it a few times a year.  I'm sick of doing this over, and over, and over, and over again! 

The only other option is to play with only a few mods or non at all. If that was my only option, I wouldn't bother to play the game at all. 

Offline for certain after this mess clears. 

same here , after I did the update , I tried to press my household and it kept taking me back to the world screen , please fix this EA

Mine too. I thought I lost my save, happy to see that was not my fault, but an issue with the game itselft. I hope they fix it soon.

I tired to find out which mod was broken using the "vanilla method", followed the instructions and all, the game works. Then I wanted to drag the folder back to my TS4 folder, but my mods folder is now empty. I literally just drag the whole mods folder to my desktop, I never deleted any one of them. I dont understand what just happened. I have over a thousand mods and CC too, now its all gone.

the same thing is happening to me, I ended up deleting my save file thinking it was corrupted!!!!

I’m having the exact same issue. I cannot play any of my households since updating my game.

I am also having the issue; I can't click play from a specific sim either. I tried restarting and everything and nothing will fix it. 

SAME!  What in the world is going on?!?  What kind of update was that??  Come on EA!  Nothing is working, I click a household and it brings me back to my world selection.

same thing, none of the save files open. nice one EA, because stretch mark is what was needed asap before fixing old packs first. 👍
