I can't play any households, it just loads and leads me to the worlds page. If i try to play the default households my game continues to load without actually loading anything. I've updated all mods and verified my files. Is it related to the update???

I deleted Mercuryfoam's ballroom dance mod and it worked!
I am experiencing the same issue. I was able to capture a video of it, and I am really hoping this can be fixed soon.

Me too. After hours digging into my mods folder, I identified the mod below as the one incompatible with Aug-19-2025 Sims 4 update:
Mod causing the issue:
"Rex - Choose Your Classmates"
Files:

I got mine to work WITH mods but I do have to have "scripts mods" turned off. I found an article that talks about it.
I did a few other things but try that ^^ first.
Other things I did:
* Cleared my cache
* Deleted all my temporary junk files off my PC
* Did a disk cleanup for my drive
I wish I had tried the first thing first. If I have script mods on - will not run. If I have it off - it will run. I don't know if you have wonderful whims but I believe that is what was causing my issue. Custom script mods might require an update before they can be utilized?
Yeah, I'm having the same issue. It started ever since the update. I hope to get this fixed.
Having same issue, also. Wish people would post the known mods causing this issue - or I wonder if it is bc we need a hotfix ASAP
In my case the mod causing this problem was "Rex - Choose Your Classmates"

my other script mods didn't cause the issue so I can keep playing with script mods on.
