This is the same for me. I even tried loading a completely new vanilla game. It let me do the CAS part, and the background story, but once it reached the World Select page, to choose a house to buy, I can't go any further. It will let me choose a world, and click on a lot to buy, and then it sends me back to the World Select page. I haven't been able to play for several days now.

Having the exact same problem - it is so annoying considering how much we have spent on these games.

Do you guys have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

Should I delete the lastCrash and lastUIException files as well? 

I deleted the lastException and the lastUIException, but left in the lastCrash files, and it now seems to be working again. :)

yes, Delete all those L-files. LastCrash, LastUI, lastexception. They are all log files and old ones are not useful.
