Have you checked in CAS if the townies in question just happen to have generated with their stomach outwards? Sims' stomachs can be pulled outwards in CAS and some townies generate with that appearance.

@SimmerStar4I just went into my game and tried to pull a newly generated sim's belly out as much as possible and at most it was about 1st trimester size. The sims I see have 3rd trimester bellies, there are skinny all the way to fat sims with 3rd trimester bellies. I have also looked at some of the townies in CAS like you suggested and they have seemed to generate with the 3rd trimester bellies. One of my sims that I aged up, generated with a 3rd trimester belly so maybe it is normal. thanks for help.
