Yes the mods were re-enabled however when I loaded a game I was informed that that one or more items were removed because they didn't associated with my account.
The items were almost all the skins and body presets located into my mods folder.
Apparrently the new update just deletes everything (any custom content they considers not yours from the mods folder.)
I have restored everything from my last backup, however this is a very serious problem as everytime I load a game keeps deleting custom content.

Did you re-enable mods after already going to CAS ? Once stuff is removed and save, you won't get it back by re-enableing. AFAIK, the game doesn't actively delete mods from your folder. They just won't be run on sims/objects you've imported that contains CC, and those are removed within your save if you don't have the matching CC installed in the first place. That is nothing to worry about in itself. Your mods folder is untouched. If you're losing CC in your mods folder, you might be getting them removed from another source, like your AV program or something, being flagged as a false positive or such.
