Are you trying to open the apartments in build mode or live mode?  In live mode, you can't enter a lot that's vacant as you have to knock on the door.  In build mode, you should be able to open the lot from the map by clicking on the build icon in the lower right corner of the screen.   You should go into the lot in build mode first and make sure the venue is set to residential rental and that all the rooms inside have been assigned.  Otherwise, they will all be assigned to shared and the lot won't work properly. 

Once you've got all the apartments set up, then you can move the sims in using Manage Households or go to live mode with the sim you want to be a landlord and have them buy the lot.  Then the landlord has the option to pick tenants for each apartment and they will move in on their own.  If you want the game's default landlord to run the place and play as a tenant, then just move sims into the apartments via Manage Households.

    The issue is happening when trying to access the lot through World management and also when trying to move in a sim, so I don’t think what you explained will fix it sadly ☹️

    @yoonsglow Could you please start a new save game with no mods/cc at all to see if you have the same issue.

    To me it looks like a corrupted save.

    I just removed all mods and cc and started a new save file and the issue has disappeared, so I guess you are right. Could it be a mod that I haven’t updated or is the mod itself not working well with the pack? How can I find out what mod it is? It is weird because I think more people would’ve had this issue if it’s a mod related problem

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Close the game again
    • Copy JUST your save game from  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
    • Start your save
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    Thank you, you were right, I guess I just didn’t want to believe it was a mod issue and go through the trouble of finding out which one caused it, but for everyone facing the same issue it was TwistedMexi’s AllScenarios mod. I updated the mod but sadly the issue still persists so I guess I have to play without it ☹️

    @yoonsglow I moved your post to the mods forum. Check the stickied list if there's any other known mods that can cause this.

    Someone else will assist you further if you can't find the culprit.

    @yoonsglow This is a known issue with All Scenarios, unfortunately. It doesn't work with For Rent. Seeing how it's broken has been helpful. Thank you for posting here.
