Same here. And also cannot build an residential rental lot… but all other stuff from the DLC is working. Even in the new world I can play with the existing rental lot. It’s so frustrating, trying to fix it for hours now. 

@Tuimelaartjehaha @Phynie One known cause of this is venue-list/venue-change mods that haven't been updated today. Please try without those. You may also need to do check without mods to identify other culprits. If you have NO mods, try a Game Repair.

You will need to switch the lot type first before you can place any gallery lot that has a type "residential rental".

Hello, I own the sims 4 for rent, when I try to download a  lot that has the residential rental lot type I get this error message “not available for this lot” I’m not able to down load any lots that are listed residential rental. Any suggestions? Thank you!

You need to change the lot type to Residential Rental first.
