Re: Screen turn to black grid when in build mode

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game in a new save.
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.

Hi,
I did what you advised.
I move Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache. package. I test the game in a new save. But it still shows the black grid when I open the build mode

From the screenshot you've provided, which isn't terribly clear, it looks like you're underground in the lot, in the basement for example. What happens if you click on the up arrow in the top right corner to go up a level?

Hi,
i am sorry for late in reply. I was giving up opening sims due to that issue. In relate with your question, yes it looks from the basement and even if I click the arrow up, it still showing the basement black grid which I am not sure why. Been spamming that arrow up so many times.
