Re: Sims 4 can’t hire services

oh great u managed to find the culprit but i have her mods but not that one and im getting the error.. i played the game no mods and works fine but all 15 of the mods i have are all updated to new patch so im confused but i do have about 3 of hers installed but not the education one

@wanipuk , while @PreciousLife1996 has identified which of Kawaii Stacie's Mods was causing the problem for their game, they also said that that they removed all of Kawaii Stacie's Mods until they are updated, which as of yesterday they had not been. So according to @PreciousLife1996 not all of Kawaii Stacie's Mods are updated yet, so if you have some of them then you probably still have some outdated Mods.  (Although by the time you read this it could be that they might have been updated, so you will need to check) . 😉

If you are still having problems you might want to try things in this order:

Please do all of the following:

1) Move the Mods Folder to your desktop

2) Delete the localthumbcache.package file in the game folder.

3) Fix you game in Origin by logging in and go to Library, then right-click on The Sims 4 and choose the "Repair Game" option from the list.  Wait until Origin finishes repairing all your packs and not just the base game.

4) Now, when you turn on your game again, it will create a new mods folder that will be empty.  Check to see if your game is now working without mods/CC.

5) Now you can try adding back items from your Mods folder one at a time checking your game each time to see which item is causing your game to not work properly.  If you have a lot of items, you can try the 50/50 Method. 

(The CC creators will usually update the CC items and Mods after these updates, so when you find out which one is the culprit, you can get the updated version from whoever made that item of CC in the first place.  You should try these steps any time you have problems in your game to rule out CC/Mods problems.  It is the responsibility of the Mods/CC creators to update their items anytime EA releases a patch/update, and it is the responsibility of the people who use Mods/CC to make sure they are using the most recent version.) 

Hopefully doing things in this order will help! 🤞 Also if you use CC make sure all of you CC is updated (not just your Mods) because sometimes it is outdated CC that is causing the problem.  Even if it seems unlikely, you would be surprised.  There was one player whose Sims wouldn't go to work, and it turned out to be some CC eyelashes that were causing the problem! 😮🙃

FIXED! ok guys, i found the problem!! so it was a mod i installed called { LittleMsSam_PregnancyOverhaul_MuchBiggerThanEAsBelly } it basically give u a bigger belly when pregnant ...but after going through all 1400 mods/cc mostly cc though i can confirm for defo it was this mod causing the issue ..my game is working fine again and the services and delivery tabs on the phone is back again! yey!! i hope this also helps others with the same issue! JUST GO TO YOUR MODS FOLDER AND SEARCH OR LOOK FOR THE MOD I MENTIONED ABOVE AND DELETE IT! this then should fix the issue, unless you have other mods give you the same problem!

@wanipuk , I'm so happy you found the Mod causing your problem and that your game is now working !  🙌  I"m sorry I couldn't reply earlier but I had real life stuff to take care of.

Do you have smb billing from Sim realist? It might be that your services are not set up. Because they are not set up you don’t have a cell phone service and simply can’t make the call because of it. Everyone just loves to blame the mods but sometimes it’s not exactly a broken mod but one that works as it should. You know unlike sims 4.
