Maybe one or more of your saves are corrupted. The game installation isn't the issue, it's something in your Sims 4 folder because a clean folder works fine.
What happens when you try to save? Technically, I can save games just fine. Once I close down the Sims 4 application though, it's like the save file corrupts and the came will crash on the startup screen next time I try to launch it. I never even make it to the screen to where I can try to see if the save actually saved. I have to have a clean game file every time I launch the game or it will crash.

Can you upload one of these saves and PM me the link so I can download it and test in my game? Of course! Could you tell me how to go about uploading a save?

Upload a save file from your saves folder to a file sharing site such as Google Drive/Mediafire/Dropbox. You will get a link to the individual file, please PM me this link 🙂 Sent! Thank you for explaining!

Thanks! I've managed to load your save with no problems. I let the game run for a bit, saved and quit a couple of times and all fine. It was a clean game, no CC or mods. Can you try that too? Move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop again then launch and quit the game. Move the save you sent me to test into the new saves folder and don't move anything else over. Launch the game and see if it works. Done and it works just fine! Does that mean it is a mod/cc issue?

Yes. I'm moving your thread to the Games & Mods forum. If you need further help with Mods the helpers over there are more knowledgable than me 🙂 Thank you sooo much!
