Re: Sims 4 crashes when i turn on script mods

I'm sorry if I came across as rude but I just hate when people do that, I find it very frustrating.

Sims 4 keeps crashing when I turn on script mods. I can load into a game but when i try to load into a household it crashes within two seconds of loading, when I keep my script mods in the mods folder it doesn't crash but when I turn on script mod settings it crashes regardless if mods are in there or not. I'm aware i can just turn script mods off but I want to use my script mods. Is there a fix for this? And please don't tell me to repair my game or redirect me to a troubleshoot site.

From what you describe, your crashing is being caused by one of your mods which is either broken outright or not up to date for the current version of your game.  So, you need to troubleshoot them and figure out which one it is.  Then check to see if there is an updated version wherever you got it from or remove it.  Depending on how many you have, you can use the 50/50 method or test them one at the time.  You need to check everything though.  Mods and any CC you have too.  

I wasn't paying close attention once and downloaded a set of CC curtains that were for TS3, not TS4.  Game crashed immediately before even loading.  Didn't even get close to the Main Menu before it crashed.  It took me a while but once I found and removed that file, everything was fine.  So, you should check everything you have in your mods folder to make sure it works.
