Re: sims 4 crashing when loading into any plot

hi thanks for the response. I did confirm that it was my mods causing the issue. heres the mods list

the issue only happens when i load in after i make a sim. if i click resume it’ll load but then it crashes when i try to change the plot in manage worlds. lmk what to do next! thank you. 

@brixellaa Okay, here are my notes on that, but I do think you might need to do a 50-50 test:

• Uninstall and reinstall your adeepindigo mods - at least one is outdated and that's often the best approach for those.
• Be suspicious of those merged package files, like shoes.package and socks.package - the ones that aren't part of a UI mod.
• Delete No Washing Dishes in the Bathroom - it's obsolete. Instead, use the built-in game option to select on an individual sink.
• Update your Controlled Position mod.
• Make sure you have the Control Any Sim version from Github or Curseforge, not MTS. It might not be compatible with Selectable Pets Always.
• Personality Please is broken - remove that.
• Try without your Sac mods - they often have issues.
• Remove Bed Cuddle if you have Lovestruck.

I did everything you said and it still doesn’t work.. I’m gonna attempt another 50/50 even though i haven’t been finding the answer when i do that.

If that doesn’t work im probably gonna delete the game and reinstall even though it’ll take years to download the game and all my dlcs..

UPDATE: it crashed when i took everything out but the following: 

- basemental drugs 

- mccc

- mcwoohoo

- build better buy

- tool 

- better exceptions

- ui cheats 

I’ve already went through and got all the latest updates for those ones. i took out the tmex ones and it worked so now im putting 1 of them

back in at a time to see which one crashes it

UPDATE: i updated tool again cuz that made it crash when i took everything out. But when i put everything back in thinking i found the problem it crashed again. I’m out of hope now 

I think it might be gshade.. I deleted it and now my game opens. but I get a ui error saying broken trait mods and it shows no mods that are broken. —- i don’t have any trait mods in my game. 

I don’t wanna play without gshade so i’m gonna try to figure out what i can do and if a clean install would help.

@brixellaa UI exception reports can't identify culprit mods. For that, you need to use the 50-50 method of mod testing. You might also need support with complete Gshade removal from that software's own support sites.
